Hahnsol Kim, violin


Celebrated by the Boston Herald for his performance of the Sibelius violin concerto in Boston. Following this performance, violinist Hahnsol Kim made his debut in Alice Tully Hall with the Juilliard Orchestra in May 2014, as a result of winning the Juilliard Concerto Competition.
Born in New York, Korean-American violinist Hahnsol Kim  graduated from the Yewon School and the Seoul Arts High School in Korea, where he studied with Ms. Hyunmi Kim. Then, he returned to New York and graduated from The Juilliard School where he
received Bachelor and Master of Music degree. 
Hahnsol Kim has performed throughout the world including the United States, Korea, Japan, and Germany, among others.
Mr. Kim is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions including Osaka International Music Competition, International
Violin Competition Sion Valais, Gisborne International Music Competition and Salieri Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition.
As an active chamber musician, he has performed with many great musicians including Charles Neidich and Gil Shaham. Also, he regularly performs with his quartet and runs chamber music program for young musicians to bring chamber music experience to the young talents as well.


Mr. Kim is currently a faculty member the Long Island Conservatory. Also, he is the founder and the director of Hahnsol Music Group where he cultivates dedicated students with
chamber music, lectures and instrument loans with scholarship.
