KONRAD KOENIGSMANN, piano


Konrad Koenigsmann began learning piano at the age of four and oboe at the age of eight. He currently attends Mannes Prep, where he studies piano with Yuri Kim. Konrad performed twice at Carnegie Hall as a pianist after winning first places in the 2016 Crescendo Little Mozarts Music Competition and the 2017 Rondo Young Artist Festival. At Mannes Prep, he played oboe in the symphony orchestra and is currently a pianist in a chamber ensemble. He also took conducting and composition classes. Konrad composed ten pieces for piano, clarinet, and flute. In addition to classical music, he is interested in science and has published the first two books of a science fiction trilogy.
